As the senior managing director of Safe Harbor Partners in Miami, Mark Seruya and his team focus on real estate investments and distressed non-performing real estate loans from companies under adverse business conditions. Leveraging more than 40 years’ experience in the financial industry and 30 plus years in commercial real estate, Mark Seruya also consults with both high-net-worth clients and family offices, advising them on municipal and Treasury bonds, alternative investment entities, and emerging market equities. He builds on the success of his company, which has invested more than $400 million in three funds since 2015.
Mr. Seruya’s acumen has brought him many accolades, particularly from Forbes. The magazine has placed him on its Best in State list for four consecutive years as well as honoring his team in 2023. He has been featured in Barron’s, which designated his private wealth team as one of the top 250 in the nation in 2023. Earlier, Mr. Seruya was a senior managing director with Bear Stearns. Later, he became a managing director for a leading financial services firm, advising tech entrepreneurs and real estate investors.
Throughout his career, Mr. Seruya has taken it upon himself for mentor young men and women and guide them through their professional and personal lives.
An active philanthropist, Mr. Seruya supports the Sephardic Food Fund, Cancer Care, and the Franco Cancer Center. A father of three, he divides his time between Miami and New Jersey.
